INTERFACE INTERVENTION

This was the outcome of an assignment in which I was asked to choose an existing interface and intervene in the design in order to reconfigure a user’s relationship with that interface. Upon creation of this speculative device, I stretched the idea of interface, thinking of it in the broadest of terms: as the behavior of choosing food in the grocery store. The tool I designed is meant to come between the consumer and their food choices in order to enhance their understanding of the dietary and nutritional versatility of possible purchases.
